It’s been an exciting and learning experience in the last few weeks handling PR for the launch of Pure Persona by Nana. Sometime in April (you see why April means everything to me), I was recommended by a colleague PR Woman who thought I would best handle this project looking at my interest in Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle as a PR pro.

Why did I say it’s exciting? Because in 2014, I had the opportunity to handle a similar project when I joined Global Media Alliance as an Account Manager to manage PR for Vaseline Re-launch in Ghana.  Fast forward to 2020, I brought all my experiences and lessons from that project to this one. Among things I did include, handling communications for the launch, drafting Press Releases, engaging media for features, securing and coordinating interviews, engaging influencers for collaborations, social media support amongst others.

With a solid team at Pure Persona, we managed to pull off one of the impressive virtual launch for a brand in these difficult times. The brand and founder were featured on most of the leading beauty and lifestyle media outlets in Ghana and looking to expand to other African countries in the coming weeks and months.
